Manage Your Data
Where Your Data Lives
All your Remember entries are stored in this browser's localStorage — a private storage area built into your browser on this device. Nothing is sent to or held on any server we operate.
This page gives you direct control over that data: you can export a copy of everything, or permanently delete it all.
For more context on how storage works and its limitations, see our Privacy Policy.
What Is Stored
Each entry you create is stored as a record containing the following fields:
- A unique identifier for the entry
- The date and time the entry was created
- The subject label (the name or description you entered)
- The subject type (person, pet, place, life period, moment, or other)
- The mood you selected, if any
- Any note text you added
These records exist only in this browser on this device. There is no server copy. We cannot retrieve or recover them for you if they are lost.

Export Your Data
Download a copy
Export all your entries as a JSON file. This gives you a readable backup you can keep, share with another tool, or archive. Exporting does not delete anything — your entries remain in the browser.
Delete All Data
Permanently remove all entries
This will permanently delete every entry you have created in Remember on this browser. This action cannot be undone. If you want to keep a copy first, export your data above before deleting.
Remember is a private reflection tool and is not a substitute for professional mental-health support.
